LinkedIn is the Place to Be for 2025
eCommerce expert John Lawson said that LinkedIn is going to be HIS destination for for growth in 2025.
In a recent post on Traffic, Sales and Profit, John writes:
Why LinkedIn is My Big Bet for 2025
Been digging deep into my next moves, and y'all - LinkedIn is screaming opportunity! Here's what got me fired up:
The Numbers Hit Different
* 310 million people scrolling LinkedIn monthly
* Only 3 million posting weekly
* That's like having a store where millions window shop but hardly anyone's selling!
The Real Talk
Y'all, I see this all the time in my speaking gigs - everyone's glued to LinkedIn during work but nobody's creating! Here's what I hear:
* "It's for boomers" (Tell that to my 7-figure ecommerce deals from LinkedIn)
* "No time to post" (But you got time to scroll for hours?)
* "Got nothing worth sharing" (Your experience is gold - trust me!)
* "Too crowded" (3 million posting out of 310 million ain't crowded!)
Why This Matters to Us
Instagram users: Making content like it's their job
* LinkedIn users: Reading content like it's their job
* Guess where the attention is with less competition?
My 2025 Game Plan
* Building out a content calendar focused on ecommerce wins
* Sharing real numbers and results (like we did \$20M+ on eBay)
* Testing different content types (y'all know I love A/B testing!)
* Creating value while others just scroll
From what I'm seeing, 2025 is gonna be LinkedIn's breakout year for content creators. And you know me - I like being early to the party!
Leaving Facebook for Skool
Are more community builders leaving Facebook groups in favor of Skool. Lamar Tyler, serial entrepreneur and founder of Traffic, Sales and Profit is favoring Skool over Facebook. He’s not alone, Audria Richmond’s brand community, Uncloned has found success as well.
Skool is definitely not a “Black” community at all, but more and more creators are never the less finding it a great place. While Facebook is throttling the reach of communities, Skool is a pure community wanting all posts to be seen by all people.
Of course the gamification on Skool ensures that “user generated content” is high and keeps people active.

Should You Open a Childcare Business?
Either way you look at it, owning your own business is very tough. I think a child care business might be the toughest business of all. Not only are you running a business, but you have three sets of “clients”.
You’ve got to take care of the children. You’ve got to take care of their parents or guardians. You’ve got a litany of regulations to adhere to.
Recently I was at the Childcare Millionaire conference and was “blown away”. A room full of owners and staff in the Childcare industry. This association, founded by Brandy Woods, is inspiring and powerful.
In order to successfully start a business you need a community of support. If you love children and want to start a childcare business, now you know who to turn to.
